Options for accelerating the delivery of the Local Plan update(s); and focussed public consultation (regulation 18) on additional new Local Plan policies
That Cabinet:
1. Approves a proposal for a focussed public consultation
(Regulation 18) on additional new policies, to be included in the
partial update of the adopted Cotswold District Local Plan
(2011-31).
2. Approves the recommendation to defer the decision on whether to
merge the Partial Local Plan Update and Development Strategy and
Site Allocations Plan until after a Regulation 19 public
consultation on the Partial Local Plan Update.
3. Approves a proposal to accelerate the delivery of the Partial
Local Plan Update and the Development Strategy and Site Allocations
Plan.
4. Delegates authority to the Cabinet Member for Planning and
Regulatory Services to approve an update to the Council’s
Local Development Scheme, based on the outcome of the Cabinet and
Council meeting.
