Council on 20 September 2023 passed a Rail Ticket Offices motion and in doing so referred the issue to the Overview and Scrutiny Committee with the recommendation that representatives from Great Western Railway are invited to attend a Scrutiny Meeting at the earliest possible point to discuss future plans for ticket offices and staffing at local stations.
