Additional documents: Minutes: As the main officer for this item was participating remotely, the Cabinet Member reordered the agenda to take this item first.
The purpose of the report was to review officer recommendations on external bids for funding from the Suitable Alternative Natural Greenspace (Cotswold Beechwoods SAC) funds held by the Council.
The Cabinet Member invited the Infrastructure Delivery Lead to outline the item.
The Infrastructure Delivery Lead noted that the only bid was from the National Trust and was seen as a good bid which will support local communities and encourage visitors to the Sherborne Estate.
It was also noted that the bid would support natural wildlife which is in line with Cotswold District Council’s corporate priorities.
It was noted that there were no comments received from the public.
Decision
The Cabinet Member considered the recommendations and agreed to APPROVE the bid presented in the report.
Reason for Decision of the Cabinet Member for Planning and Regulatory Services
It fits in with Cotswold District Council’s corporate priorities of ‘being green to the core’, and supporting the health and wellbeing of residents.

Recommendations That the Cabinet Member considers the draft representation, and subject to any amendments, agrees it for submission to inform the review by the Independent Examiner.

The purpose of the report was agree a representation from the Council to the Regulation 16 consultation on the Down Ampney Neighbourhood Development Plan.
It was noted by the Cabinet Member that there were many annexes to consider, and it was hoped that the public would engage with the process.
It was noted by the officer that this was the final consultation for the council to comment on the plan on the Down Ampney Neighbourhood Development plan.
It was noted that the Parish Council should be congratulated on their work and ambition in developing the plan.
It was noted that there were no comments received from the public.
Decision
The Cabinet Member considered the recommendations of the officer and resolved to APPROVE the recommendation to submit the representation.
