Neighbourhood Planning: Decision to make the Fairford Neighbourhood Development Plan This report asks the Cabinet Member for Development Management and Licensing to consider the referendum result and agrees to make the plan;

Any comments received will be reported to the Decision-Maker prior to the decision(s) being taken Additional documents: Minutes: The Cabinet Member invited the Community Partnership Officer to outline the background of the decision.
It was noted that the plan had gone through a thorough process prior to the referendum.
It was noted that the referendum had confirmed the wishes of residents to agree to the proposed plan with just under 90% of residents voting in favour of ‘yes’, with a turnout of 40% for the vote.
The Cabinet Member thanked those involved for all of their work in the development of the plan.
Decision
The Cabinet Member considered the recommendations of the officer and resolved to agree to make the plan
Reason for Decision of the Cabinet Member for Planning and Regulatory Services
The Cabinet Member agreed to the decision as the plan sets out a positive vision for the town and meets the legal requirements. The Cabinet Member wished to pass on congratulations to Fairford Town Council and the Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group for the delivery of the plan.
