This report requests that the Cabinet Member for Development Management and Licensing considers the referendum result for South Cerney and should it have received more than 50% of votes cast in its favour, agrees to make the Plan.

Noted the referendum result for South Cerney, which was 90.9% of votes being cast in favour.
The Cabinet Member for Development Management and Licensing agreed to make the Plan due to 90.9% of the referendum votes being cast in favour.
Reason for Decision of the Cabinet Member for Development Management and Licensing:
The results of the referendum were 90.9% of votes being cast in favour.
The Cabinet Member noted that current legislation dictated that the Council was expected to make the Plan, unless there was an outstanding legal challenge or so do so would breach environmental protection legislation.
