Street Nameplates - Settlement Name Minutes: 1. Street Nameplates – Settlement Names
To approve the settlement name to be included on replacement street nameplates at various locations across the district.
Decision:
RESOLVED that the settlement name to be included on each of the street nameplates to be replaced, as set out in Annex A, be approved.
Reason for Decision of the Leader of the Council
As part of the Civic Pride initiative, street nameplates would be replaced including the settlement name and the Council’s crest/logo. The Leader of the Council considered that the place names listed at Annex A, represented the settlements in the District and should be included on the street nameplates.
