This report asks the Cabinet Member for Climate Change and Forward Planning to consider and approve amendments to the Local Plan Issues and Options (Regulation 18) Consultation Document approved by Cabinet on 6 December 2021.

Considered and approved the list of proposed amendments to the Cotswold District Local Plan Regulation 18 Consultation Document outlined at Annex A of the report.
Reason for Decision of the Cabinet Member for Climate Change and Forward Planning:
The proposed amendments will ensure that members of the public can provide appropriate feedback via the Council’s online consultation system which will include a range of questions, interactive maps and text boxes where comments can be submitted.
Officers will ensure that the topics associated with the Local Plan are easily identifiable and accessible to the public.
The layout of topics within the online consultation system will be reviewed throughout the formal consultation period to maximise engagement on the full range of issues and options presented in the Consultation Document; this will help to the next stages of the plan making process (policy drafting) for the benefit of local communities.
