Reasons for the decision:

To enable the Council to make use of the UK Shared Prosperity Funding allocated to it by Government and to approve projects which will help the Council to deliver the outputs and outcomes set out in its UKSPF Local Investment Plan.

Alternative options considered:

The alternative option considered was not to award the funding.  This would risk not spending the allocation available and not delivering the outputs and outcomes expected of the Council.
