Purpose:
To consider recommendations from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund Assessment Panel.
Decision:
To approve the award of funding to a project in the district as outlined in Annex A, having had regard to the recommendations of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund Assessment Panel.
Reasons for the decision:
To enable the Council to make use of the UK Shared Prosperity Funding allocated to it by Government and to approve projects which will help the Council to deliver the outputs and outcomes set out in its UKSPF Local Investment Plan.
Alternative options considered:
Not to award the funding. There is felt to be no reason not to do so and doing so would risk not spending the allocation available and not delivering the outputs and outcomes expected of the Council.
