Purpose:
To consider recommendations from the Assessment Panel for awarding UK Shared Prosperity Funding.
Decision:
To award funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund to a number of projects in the district having taken into account the recommendations of Assessment Panel (See Annex A).
Reasons for the decision:
To enable the Council to make use of the UK Shared Prosperity Funding allocated to it by Government and to approve projects which will help the Council to deliver the outputs and outcomes set out in its UKSPF Local Investment Plan.
Alternative options considered:
Not to award the funding. There was felt to be no reason not to do so and doing so would have risked not spending the allocation available by the deadline of 31st March 2025 and not delivering the outputs and outcomes expected of the Council.
